With the NHL and NHLPA not even talking, I thought it would be appropriate to quickly check in players who are still playing; somewhere, anywhere.

Basically anyone (with value) who is currently playing hockey will be listed.  The leagues will range from the junior to professional all over the globe.  And for a final twist, I will rank the players sorted by their NHL Equivalencies.

I don't want to really get into it, so for those who are not familiar with NHL Equivalencies I would recommend Googling it.  It basically converts the said league into NHL points over an 82 game schedule.  Not the perfect formula/method, but it gives you an idea of what to expect.  If this doesn't interest you, you still have all the stats of the players on one sheet anyway.

These sheets do not show stats for the Czech league.  For some reason Hockeydb doesn't update the Czech leagues anymore.   Some guys who are performing well in that league are: Jagr, Plekanec, Cervenka, Prospal, Hemsky, Zidlicky, and to a lesser extent Krejci.  Also, Tomas Hertl is one prospect to keep on eye on in this league, and also during the WJC.

Another league that I couldn't update automatically is the Swedish 2nd division (aka, Allsvenskan).  Players like Berglund, Backlund, Marcus Johansson, Read, Hagelin, and Kopitar are putting up respectable numbers.  Have a look at the league leaders for some more names.

I'm sure there are a lot of players that I have missed, overlooked, or simply put on the wrong team.  Don't hesitate to add that in the comments.
